Susan Copich pulls from numerous artistic pursuits. She began by earning her BFA in performance/choreography pursuing a professional career in dance on both the East and West coasts. She’s acted; created and co-produced a film-short, The Cupcake; wrote and created an original series pilot, Crossed; and created and co-wrote a competition photography series entitled CLICK! Copich is also an award-winning photographer known for her acclaimed conceptual series Domestic Bliss. The series went viral in 2014 following Slate’s rave review of her New York City solo exhibition and has since received global recognition.
Her work is shown in galleries, fairs and museums and held in private collections around the world. Having enjoyed a multitude of expressions the common thread has always been story-telling.

A short film that expands on the conceptual photographic series Domestic Bliss. Within the pristine environment of suburban living, a modern housewife (Susan Copich) longs for escape from an ennui bred of entitlement and isolation.
She discovers expression and freedom through ritual and performance, to a dreamlike precision, that may only further the trappings of her perfect world. Like the photographic series THE CUPCAKE presents tableaux rich with iconic symbols that dive into the psychological and asks the character to face herself or continue the endless loop of denial.

In a world where everyone thinks they’re a photographer, the reality show CLICK! enlists four professionals who, by mentoring a diverse group of people throughout the country, will ferret out the truly talented image-makers waiting to be discovered. A competition centered on cooperation, CLICK! brings the Mentors and the audience into the private lives of the Protégés seen through their lens. By exposing these unique pockets of demographics in America, the contestants will photograph their worlds, pealing back stereotypes and revealing the core humanity that runs through all of us—love, family, fear, worry, joy. Each week the judges determine a winning Protégé with the season culminating in awarding one of the Mentors CLICK! Photographer of the Year.
